I joined Greatway Financial to help Canadians make better financial decisions. What I didn't expect was how much the opportunity would change my own family's life.

In 2006, I came to Canada as a foreign worker. Despite my background in veterinary education, I took on different jobs to build a better future for my family. Like many newcomers, I was willing to work hard, but I also wanted something more: financial stability, time with my loved ones, and the freedom to pursue my calling in church ministry.

My passion for financial education came from personal experience. After changing my insurance policies three times because I struggled to understand my options, I realized how important financial knowledge is.

I didn't want other families to face the same confusion I had experienced.

In 2018, I discovered Greatway Financial. Its mission to educate Canadians about financial literacy resonated with me, and I saw an opportunity to turn my personal experience into a meaningful career—one where I could help others while creating a better balance between work and family.

After obtaining my insurance license, I began my journey as an advisor. I still remember receiving my first significant commission. It was a defining moment. We were able to pay off our debts, and for the first time, I could truly see the potential of this new path.

That experience gave me the confidence to take a leap of faith. In 2019, I left my decade-long career and committed to Greatway full-time.

Since then, the journey has brought me more than professional growth. I've enjoyed family vacations, including memorable cruises, and gained more opportunities to spend precious time with the people who matter most. As a first-generation immigrant, these experiences mean the world to me. They remind me that success isn't just about earning a living—it's about having the freedom to enjoy the life we're working so hard to build.

Since May 2018, I've been proud to help Canadians work toward a more secure financial future through financial education and guidance. What began as a search for a better career has become a mission I truly believe in.

Today, Greatway is more than a career to me. It's an opportunity to serve, grow, spend more time with my family, and help other families make informed financial decisions.
